Melbourne Marathon 2014
Story
Hey All,
I find running to be incredibly refreshing and one of the best remedies for any anxieties or stresses we may face. This is why I have decided to raise some funds for Beyondblue whilst training for my first full marathon.
I don't expect to raise much, however I do hope to see more people popping on their runners and letting the endorphins work their magic in overcoming challenging times, rather than medicine, drugs, alcohol or a tub of ice cream. However the last option is pretty enjoyable.
The Melbourne Marathon is on Sunday 12th of October. It would be great to see some familiar faces there either getting involved in shorter distances, or joining me for a feed and kick of the footy after the event. Fingers crossed I make it!
Cheers. I'll be training/preparing around Melbourne and Mt Buller, if anyone wants to join!
