Hello Friends!

I will be taking part in my 1st Medibank Melbourne half marathon this October and hoping to raise funds for the non for profit organisation Crossway Lifecare.

I am (kind of) excited to be a part of this race and have enjoyed training hard with the Dawnbreakers all the way through winter on our pitch black 5.45am freezing cold runs, as well as just recently starting to run with some other m8s(lel zenkis) who have challenged me, and kept me in good company :) It wasn't long ago when reaching 5km called for celebration, and when I thought 10km was my limit, so it's safe to say that I am very surprised, and happy with my progress.

I thought that this would be a great opportunity to support a great cause and hopefully be able to give a helping hand to someone who needs it. I chose Lifecare because I am aware of the great work they do in assisting  individuals, families, and youth to overcome the hardship that they may be facing within our own community through a number of community mentoring and coaching services.
