Story
Hi there
This October I am taking part in the Melbourne Half Marathon and am hoping to raise much needed funds for Berry Street Victoria.
Together with 100 other people, we are aiming to raise $30,000 for Berry Street's ‘Wild at Heart’ youth wilderness program. This program has proven to be highly effective in taking disadvantaged young people out of their comfort zones so that they can grow. At risk young people are taken into a wilderness setting for an extended period where they eventually break down their protective layers and emerge with a more conscious and confident understanding of themselves and how to engage with their communities. The work doesn't end there, they are then supported to integrate back into their communities.
I am honoured to be a part of this amazing challenge and I’d really appreciate your support with a donation.

Berry Street is the largest child and family welfare organisation in Victoria. Each year we help thousands of children recover from the devastating effects of family violence, abuse and neglect.
Berry Street never gives up doing whatever it takes for the children in our care. We believe that all children should have a good childhood, growing up feeling safe, nurtured and with hope for the future. For over 130 years we have been giving these children a chance.
