Hey ALL!!
The 6 of us (+1 one, injured but there in spirit) have crazily decided run a marathon or half marathon (some for the first time) this coming October, as part of the Melbourne Marathon.
Why you make ask?
For some its because they were tricked in to doing so... "Really honestly, I'm running the marathon because Nick Siew asked me last year and I stupidly said yes without thinking about what that actually meant " - Kelvin Cheuk
For others its to "To challenge myself mentally and physically" - Jo Conde
And for some "its to show those young bloods that this old timer still has it" - Chien Tan.
Yet despite differences in motivations, the common thread for us running is to:
1. To run together as a group, to have fun, and to finish the race as a group.
2. Raise awareness and money for World VIsion's work in Ending Trafficking in Persons within Vietnam
