10 km Run 4 Refugees

Story

Guys! I'm gonna run 10 kilometres!

This is a great personal challenge for me. As you may or may not know I have been pretty crippled by mega shit back pain for the past few years. Things are looking up though and I feel optimistic that I am actually going to be able to run 10kms (I can run 5.5 as of 30/07/14!) Holy fuck.

Please reward me in my efforts by giving me the great satisfaction of being able to donate a whole bunch of money to a seriously worthy cause, the Asylum Seekers Resource Centre.

ASRC Footscray (Asylum Seeker Resource Centre)

The Asylum Seeker Resource Centre (ASRC) is both a place and a movement.

As an independent not for profit organisation, we are owned and run by our community. Our programs empower people seeking asylum to maximise their own physical, mental and social well-being. As a movement, we mobilise and unite communities to create lasting social and policy change for people seeking asylum in Australia.

We assist over 7,000 people seeking asylum each year from our centres in Footscray and Dandenong, Victoria.
