Running to see people in tough places flourish
Story
This will be my second marathon in support of Crossway LifeCare Ltd. I now know the pain! But I am so committed to seeing people in tough places flourish I am more than happy to do the full 42 KM because I have had the immense privilege of seeing many children, young people and families completely transformed by the work of the staff and volunteers of LifeCare.

My favourite is seeing a single mother, Ali, recover from in her words a "nervous breakdowm and chaos" to completing her nursing and medical school examinations. This was a result of our COACH - Community Mentoring program and B-empowered programs that have helped her to flourish. Her eldest son, Robbie, story is great too; in 2011, he was at the point of exclusion from school and in trouble in the community but after 2 years of support from Alan his coach, he is now both at school and at home. He was awarded the LifeCare Annual Youth Award in 2014 for his performance.
This is why I run and I would really value your support in reaching my funding target so that we can see more people like Ali and Robbie flourish.
