Help Fight Cancer
Story
I'm taking part in the 2014 Melbourne Marathon Festival and hoping to raise much needed funds for charity.
This October, I’m going to be sweating it out and doing my best to complete a gruelling course through the streets of Melbourne and ending back at the world famous 'G!
Some people may be aware that I spent several weeks earlier this year, doing my best to support my best mate & his family deal with the later stages of his fight against cancer. Unfortuneatly he lost that battle, but he was one of the bravest & inspirational men I have known.
I want to continue the fight against this disease & support the amazing people that cared for him, helped him live out his days as comfortable as possible.
I am honoured to be a part of this amazing race and helping a great cause, and I’d really appreciate your support in this endeavour.
