Recently I found out that a very close and amazing friend has cancer... For those that have been affected by cancer or know someone that has knows that it is a confronting, sad and frustrating experience to see the world of someone close to you, be turned upside down.  While I cannot change this diagnosis, help with treatment or make it go away, what I can do is show my support to my friend by raising money for the Cancer Council VIC in the hope that any money raised will help others going through a similar experience in the future.  

This friend has shown amazing resilience, determination and commitment to beating cancer, which I find truly amazing and inspiring.  On 12th October 2014 I will be runinng in the Melbourne Half Marathon (21km).  On race day I will be running every step for this friend to show my support and admiration in their journey towards kicking cancers arse.
