Run for Sanfilippo and Meckenzie
Story
I'm taking part in the 2014 Melbourne Marathon Festival and hoping to raise much needed funds for the Sanfilippo Childrens Foundation and our dear friend Meckenzie Oelofson. The first human clinical trial is not to far away with much needed funds needed to take help this cause and hopefully a cure for Sanfilippo.
Okay, so not the Marathon itself, just tackling the 10km run. Never run this distance before. My cousin is also doing the race and he is a seasoned runner, he is aiming for a PB under 35mins. I am some hoping that I might do it in 70mins??????
The race is taking place on 12th October. I’m going to be sweating it out and doing my best to complete the course through the streets of Melbourne and ending back at the world famous 'G!
I am honoured to be a part of this amazing race and helping a great cause, and I’d really appreciate your support in this endeavour.
